T Paul Sek Painting began to spread its roots in Santa Cruz, California in 1989.  Paul and Debbie became an inseparable painting duo in 2002.  One year later together they began their quest for safer alternatives, inspired by a desire for a healthier work environment more fitting to their lifestyle and their clients’ needs. Beginning in 2007, their business became a dedicated eco-friendly, full-service painting company. Employing environmentally-conscious methods to protect Environmental and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), they now offer alternative materials that have proven both durable and safer. Working closely with the client, they create individualized plans for their most chemically-sensitive clientele with rewarding success.

Debbie runs the business side of T Paul Sek Eco-Friendly Painting, continually researching to remain on the cutting-edge of green painting. Paul runs the jobsites and leads by example, implementing proven environmentally-safe practices into all aspects of the company’s work. Paul, Debbie and their crew are Certified Green Building Professionals (CGBPs). They are working with the Monterey Bay Green Business Program to develop a green-painting standard, which will determine the guidelines for future green-painters to follow. The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) consults their expertise in this specialized field.  In 2010, T Paul Sek Painting was awarded a first place Green Award for Residential Restoration and voted Best Green Service in Santa Cruz County.  T Paul Sek Painting has won “Best Painter” in Santa Cruz County in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
