ABOUT T PAUL SEK ECOPAINTING
T Paul Sek Eco-Painting began in Santa Cruz, California in 1989, with Debbie Sek joining it in 2002. Soon, the couple began a quest for safer alternatives, inspired by a desire for a healthier work environment more fitting to their lifestyle and their clients’ needs.
In 2007, the business became a dedicated eco-friendly, full-service painting company, employing environmentally conscious methods to protect Environmental and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). T Paul Sek Eco-Painting is an EPA Certified Lead-safe Renovation Firm. The company offers alternative nontoxic and zero VOC painting and staining materials that have proven both durable and safer. Individualized protocols for chemically sensitive clientele can be created.
Paul’s stellar reputation for expertise in all facets of painting and staining together with Debbie’s business acumen in coordinating day-to-day operations are a winning combination. Paul and team members implement proven environmentally safe practices, like attaching a HEPA filtration system when using power tools, and many others.
Paul, Debbie, and the T Paul Sek Eco-Painting team members are all Certified Green Building Professionals (CGBP’s). They work with the Monterey Bay Green Business Program to develop a green painting standard, which will determine the guidelines for future green painters. The United States Green Building Council consults their expertise in this specialized field.
